MEMORANDUM
DATE: 5/21/05
TO: Full Client List and Other Interested Parties
FROM: Ethan Starr, CEO
SUBJECT: Forum Posting Rules
Salutations! This forum is intended as a repository for brief statistical information, stylized quotations, and sound bytes that may be used by our clientele for market analysis, company record updating, or image-improving purposes. A basic explanation of how the forum is organized:
Three threads will dominate the forum:
PC Database
NPC Database
and
Submission Pool
The former two threads will be a touched-up, edited, and ready-to-present database of Characters information and relevant quotations gained about the character through interviewing oreavesdropping confidential sources. The PC is for Player Characters, and the NPC forum is for Non-Player Characters. Each Character will have one post dedicated to them in the thread, which will continually be updated as more information arises.
Here is a sample of a Character Profile likely to appear in the SRS's open database:
Name: Ethan Starr
Occuptation: CEO of Starr Reporting Syndicate, Public Relations
Affiliations: Clan Tremere, Camarilla
"I love that man!"
-Doctor Frank Tilard, Resident Hematologist for the Los Angeles Chantry
"Not since William Randolph Hearst have we seen a media personality as influential as Ethan Starr. Does his career have the potential to redefine the nation’s views on journalism? Possibly. Will those changes be for the better? That is a matter for the history books to decide, decades from now…
-Peter Jennings, Anchor for ABC's "World News Tonight"
"All Tremere must die, and that highly attractive, incredibly inspiring, and surprisingly benevolent man is no exception."
-Ahriman Jones, House Flambeau, Dog-Hater
Further sound bytes and copied quotations will appear as they are pulled from the Submission Pool thread, where you, the Player, can submit any relevant quotation about a specific PC or NPC. Please refer to the Submission Guidelines at the beginning of the Submission Pool thread.
Any questions or comments about the handing of this forum are welcome, as the SRS is always willing to modify the Style Format of this forum to fit what others recommend may be a more adequate means of handling this very important medium for boosting one's ego.
